Staff were lovely, however we were charged an additional £10 per night for the car which we were not told about in advance, the shower in the room was old and plastic and not great and the sauna was out of order. The location and communal areas and pub was nice

The hotel and facilities were amazing, the staff couldn’t be more helpful, food excellent. Hotel room decor dated and no air conditioning so I did not sleep great as I was too hot even with window open.

Stayed the night at Celtic Royal Hotel & Spa with my wife. Lovely hotel with a nice pool and facilities. Room was a bit to warm for us, but reception sorted us a fan which brought the temperature to a comfortable level. Breakfast was very good. Parking comes at a cost unless you book directly with the hotel.

Pool and adjoining jacquizzi was a little cool. Upset booking a double room we were given two connected single beds. Makes for uncomfortable sleep. Staff very friendly. Location close to town centre. Paying for parking (£10 per night) is not great at all.

Lovely staff, ideal location, close to eateries. Room well kept bur maybe towels etc need an update, but overall lovely. Parking only free if booked direct, but £10 reasonable and plenty spaces. Will defo stay again. Lots of lovely quirky spaces to chill.

We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly.

Good hotel on the whole, bedroom and bathroom in need of some updating. Net curtains looked old and in need of replacing. Lots of outdoor noise maybe as room on the front of property, so disturbed sleep. Staff very pleasant, breakfast good.
