4/10 Fair

Brand new hotel. Manager couldn’t overcome the fact that we had booked online but paying in person with our Hotel.com gift card we received for our wedding present. It was fine for us to redo it on our phone but then he acted like he couldn’t overcome the fact that the prior reservation couldn’t be canceled even though we just booked it prior to walking in. The hotel even tried to charge the next day even though it was canceled outside of the 24hr cancellation….. pain in side for sure. Corporate places need to empower their people for proper customer service.

When I got to room the first night, the toilet was not flushing correctly, figured I would call about in the morning. The next morning, was not flushing properly. Called down and they sent up a plunger, which did not work (I knew it wouldn’t, it wasn’t clogged). Called again for a room change, man said to give him a few minutes. Called an hour later (I was getting picked up soon, and I still haven’t gone to the bathroom.) I was told he needed to send up someone to prove it wasn’t working. Ugh. Finally got a different room, my ride had to wait. Very poor customer service. Desk guy was so rude and unhelpful. Note, girl that worked desk at night was terrific. Room was too warm, air would not come on.
