The room and shower room were really clean and felt modern. Comfortable bed. The manager was very pleasant and chatty whenever we saw her. The bar staff were very good but service for breakfast on the second morning was slow. Parking right outside was very convenient.

Completely met our needs and requirements for our 2 night stay - all the staff are friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and quiet and the breakfast gave us a good start to the day.

we really enjoyed our stay and wished we had stayed longer in a nice quiet area big car park amazing food at dinner and breakfast good value for money and excellent friendly staff rooms big an comfortable amazing rain shower and a great idea of seperate duvets no more hubby hogging the duvet we had a dog friendly room but didnt have a dog which just booked a last minute stay on the way home from cornwall for our anniversary if in the area would stay again

Both the venue and staff were first class, after a long drive down for business they couldn’t have been more helpful in checking me in. The selection of food and drink was excellent and the room clean and very comfortable.

The staff were all really, really helpful. It was a great place to stay just a few minutes walk from the Sandy Cove Hotel where we were visiting for a wedding. Highly recommended!

This was our 2nd stay at The Sawmills, we actually ended up in the same room ! Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Food was very good - special shout out for the breakfast which is awesome !!!! Looking forward to staying again later this year 👍
