The location is close to harbour front, train, grocery, restaurants. The owners are using historic buildings to create comfortable vacation rentals. There is a good coffee place next door, Wired Monk.
We were in a second building with parking which had access from the back of the apartment. When we entered the hallway the cooking smell was almost overwhelming.
Our apartment was mid renovation. The bathroom had holes in the wall, duct tape on shower, damaged/dirty baseboards, unfinished drywall covering holes in the ceiling. This will be corrected shortly. It did have good water pressure.
The apartment had furnishings and art in keeping with the historic age of the building. However some furniture is stained and the kitchen window falls out, as the duct tape holding it in has let go. The kitchen appeared to be well stocked, although we didn't make full use of it.
