At the time of the booking, there weren’t any reviews about the place and the pictures looked great. We finally arrived to a filthy apartment and moldy bathroom. No wifi was available, damp towels were given (2 for 4 nights), men’s body wash was all we had access. Clearly, no cleaning had been done. I immediately conmunicated with camelotels and they sent a ‘maintenance guy’ about 50 minutes later who could not speak English at all. He was supposed to clean up the place but I said I wanted to cancel my booking-since cleaning would not remove the mold- and wanted a refund. He went to make a phone call and never came back-he just vanished! I couldn’t spent another second in that place so I left that same night. Spoke to a rep via WhatsApp, told them I checked out and they said they were looking into the issue. The next day I messaged them again for updates and they said they wouldn’t refund as it didn’t qualify for their cancelation policy. When asked what their policy was, they just stopped replying. So false advertising and mold isn’t serious enough?? I told them I was going to report them and sent them a screenshot of all the negative reviews shown here. Hotel.com/Expedia had been ‘dealing’ with the situation but not much came out of it: we were given an 80$ coupon. Please avoid at all costs!!!!!
