"Spotless room and a seriously comfortable bed I actually managed to sleep through the night without any noise from the street. It’s a perfect little base for exploring since everything is within walking distance, but it still feels tucked away and private. Great value for the price and the loyalty card is a nice touch for a return trip!"

Please update this property. As there are new managers. NO breakfast but stated there is. Rooms were lovely and clean. Owners leave at a certain time so after that you are on your own.

"Really impressed with how well-maintained this place is;the new management is putting a lot of care into the property. The rustic decor gives it a cozy feel and the whole check-in process was totally hassle-free. It’s quiet, clean, and in a prime spot for getting to the Tower and the seafront quickly. I'll definitely be booking here again."

I stayed at No. 34 Vance Road B&B on 29/03/2026 in Blackpool and had an amazing experience. The value for money is excellent, and the room was super clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, guiding me nicely throughout my stay. The location is perfect with easy access to all attractions. I would strongly recommend this B&B and will definitely book again on my next visit!

"A very clean and well-maintained property in a prime location. It’s tucked away on a side street, so it’s peaceful, yet you can walk to the Tower or the shops in just a few minutes. The check-in process was smooth and the management seems to have a real handle on keeping the place organized and friendly. Excellent value for money for such a central location, and the loyalty scheme is a brilliant touch for regular visitors. I’ll definitely be recommending this to friends."

"Absolutely loved my stay at No. 34! The new management has really nailed the comfort—the bed was incredible and the room was surprisingly quiet for being so central. Great value for a stay in Blackpool with some lovely cafes just around the corner. I’ll definitely be using my loyalty card again soon!"

The room was NOT clean. We had to move the bed from the wall & behind it was wrappers & dust. I did take a photo but can’t upload it. The staff didn’t turn up til mid morning. The bed was old & uncomfy. It stated “sea view” All I could see was the wall of the house behind. We will NOT be returning !!

"We had a brilliant stay at No. 34! The new owners are lovely and made us feel welcome from the moment we rang the bell. The room was spotless, the decor has a really charming rustic feel, and most importantly—the bed was incredibly comfy. We slept like logs! It’s in a perfect spot, just a short walk from the front and all the main attractions. While they don't serve breakfast anymore, there are some great cafes literally just around the corner, so it wasn't an issue at all. For the price, especially for such a central location, you really can’t beat it. They even have a loyalty card for returning guests which is a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back!"

This place is disgusting!! Please avoid! We arrived and it was grim, dirty and smelt damp and stale the carpets needed a good clean but thought it’s Blackpool didn’t pay loads I can deal with this until we got the rooms. There was no sheets on the beds, pillow cases were filthy and had not been washed or changed. Stains all over the mattress protector saw these as i said there was no sheet on the bed. To top it off when we went to have a shower there was no hot water at all in the whole building. Contacted the number provided after about the 10th call he answered to say he was in hospital please speak to the person at the hotel which i advised there was nobody there we had tried! About 15 mins later a man showed up to say there was no hot water due to someone blowing the fuse or something and he had called a plumber. No plumber came and still there was no hot water for a shower or wash etc! The place needs a massive upgrade and some advice on how to clean and change bedding after guests etc! Really doesn’t look like the photos at all! I think it’s recently been taken over by new owners who don’t know what they’re doing!

Please avoid at all costs, hotel was definitely not as described, had ratings of 9 and exalent that's why we booked to be honest I think genuine ratings was maybe 2-3 and very disappointing, staff were quite rude mattersess was stained with urine /blood ect, someone had been sick in one of the rooms on the carpet witch had just been left to dry, when we asked to please change rooms wee were told we should be happy with room as they are a very bugit B&B. Was really dirty in corridors and landings. Just a really dirty place we ended up having to leave as it was that bad and finding another hotel, witch was a very big inconvenience as my wife is disabled

Arrived and found out new owners had taken over a month ago - Using old website for advertising which shows that breakfast is included - New owners do not serve breakfast - Was given a key for room and the external doors for exit and entry - Upon arriving back after a stroll around realised external door handle was loose and had difficulty unlocking it - No staff around to help or phone number to call should we could not gain entry - Did not see anyone in the building from late afternoon until leaving the following morning - No customer service given at all - DO NOT RECOMMEND

the staff were lovely but on arrival we got put in the wrong room we got put in a single when i paid for a double. I showed my booking to the man working there and he didn’t take any notice of it so then i had to message the manager and he sorted it out straight away he was very nice. Then at 10:30pm at night we had the man that worked there knock on our door begging us to take the check in review down which i thought was unprofessional and it made me a bit scared after that. we could hear the shower from the communal bathroom in our bedroom next door banging really loudly in our en suit. the bed was really comfy and the area was fantastic it’s close to everything. the room as a whole is outdated and if you were on the higher side you would not be able to fit through the shower doors. it was an okay stay for the price of it.

The person we met on arrival didn’t speak English and had to call someone to help. The room wasn’t clean there was fake eyelashes and dirty boxer shirts left under the bed. Stained musty sheets.No hot water we had to ask for it to be turned on and the water pressure was awful.we also left keys there that they told me they had found and said would be posted to us but after many requests they never sent them back.then ignored my contact asking why. We had 4 rooms booked and none of us would go back. Very disappointing!!!!
