This is definitely not a “resort”, and for the price we paid we are glad we only spent one night here. Assigned the room behind the dive shop. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom. Very run down motel room. Perhaps the canal side rooms were better? Not sure what others are seeing with their “exceptional” reviews. I would definitely not stay here again!

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. The place is run down and very dirty. The sheets are covered in stains and feces was on the bathroom wall. They refused to give me a refund stating I had used the shower and bed which I did not. Do NOT stay at this hotel!

Would not stay again.
Bar is very loud until midnight. Like turn your tv way up and try to drown it out. Not good for an early wake up. Rooms doors do not seem very safe. There is no interior only lock for one of the doors. The check in desk closes at 5pm and then the only way to reach someone for check in is to go to the bar. There is no one answering voice mail or text messages. Bathroom is very dated but clean. Beds and lines are okay. But if its too loud to sleep, it doesnt matter much.

I was very pleased with the room overall, the tiki bar had awesome food. My only complaints I had was the live music every night I was there (they did cut off at 930 but I was getting up at 5 each morning) as well as the fact that there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in my bathroom and I searched everywhere and couldn’t find another roll. Wouldn’t have been an issue but I ran out at 230am when no one was around. Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable

We flew into Key West. This property is up the lower keys away from the crowded Key West atmosphere. It is a clean older hotel. There is a large tiki bar which has live entertainment many nights. There is a nice pool. (There is not much else around, but we went to enjoy the keys beautiful and to snorkel.) The snorkel trip was recommended to us. We were not dissappointed. The reef was really good - Looe Key Reef.
