The hotel location is a bit far away from the train station. The view from the room window was fantastic. The breakfast service was inconvenient for the tourist who has to leave earlier, because the breakfast service starts at 7:30.

Don’t let looks fool you

Wonderful stay. Rooms were lovely with all amenities and great views. Breakfast was very generous and tasty. Very lovely stay. Unfortunately, driving up to hotel, we were scared that hotel was in poor condition as the outside was old & in poor condition but we were very pleasantly surprised to see the very clean & nice inside.

Great price for INSIDE the hotel.

Excellent location. Very nice rooms with all amenities. If the outside of the building would get a remodel, the hotel would be more stars! I suggest having a more general shampoo conditioner. Breakfast was very generous and tasty.

The rooms were remodeled and very clean. Very nice bedding. It was near the far end of town but very convenient and walkable. I would only recommend that the old carpet in the entry/lobby be replaced. It was very worn out and our first impression wasn't very good.

Not bad, but not great

The hotel is OK. It’s clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet is amazing! What let’s the place down is the condition. It’s very dated with threadbare carpets and a lot of staining in the bathroom and a lot of scuff marks on the walls. Just needs a bit of TLC. I’ll be back to Grindelwald but would choose somewhere else

The staff and breakfast were very good. My only issue was the internet did not work at all one night in my room and when I asked staff about it they said the internet was not so good on signal but showed me a small lobby downstairs I could use. I would though use them again I would just know I could not rely on cell or internet access.

Sir, or Ma'am I have a problem on this booking. I checked out and paid for this booking in this morning at the hotel. The problem is the room price was different than the one shows on confirmation booking detail. Hotel required me to pay 180.5fr except city tax. But my booking detail shows 171fr except city tax. The price even including city tax and other fees is only 178.8fr on booking detail. I want to have refund of price difference. Thank you in advance.

3人で宿泊しました。角部屋アイガーマウンテンビューで景色は最高でした。部屋にはキッチン，食器，調理器具がありcoopで食材を買って夕食は自炊することで食費の節約ができました。朝食はバイキングでパン，チーズ，ハム等，自分の好きなもので満足です。滞在中はバスの無料チケットをいただけ重宝しました。教会がすぐ横にあり鐘の音がとっても心地良かったです。浴室の排水が少し弱かったけど我慢できるレベルかな。次回，訪れる際も宿泊したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

자연환경이 숙소의 단점을 지우다

주변 자연환경이 숙소의 단점을 모두 잊게 만듬. 전체적으로 낡은 숙소 시설이고, 방 키는 열쇠타입으로 하나뿐임. 조리시설 및 조리기구가 있어서 편했고, 바람이 시원하여 좋았으나 파리가 있어서 신경쓰였음. 조식은 보통 수준이었고, 엘리베이터 작동방식이나 문을 여는 방식이 신기했음. 침대방의 창문에 설치된 외부 블라인드가 작동하지 않았음. 발코니에서의 알프스산맥 광경은 너무 좋았음.

グリンデルバルド駅から離れており、バスでホテル近くまで行けますが、18:00代が最終便なので注意です。最終便を逃してしまえば、20分ほど歩きます。ホテル近くにスーパーはありませんが、閑静でリラックスできます。チェックインは名前を伝え、簡単な英語で出来ました。異国らしい昔の?エレベーターがあるので荷物が重くても安心でした。宿泊フロア1階の部屋でしたが、リフォームされており、綺麗！ベランダからの眺めは素敵でした♪小さめのベランダにはテーブルと椅子が用意されていて山を眺めながらお茶をしました。朝食時は美味しそうな香りが漂っています。オレンジの生搾りジュースとサーモンがとても美味しかったです！あとクロワッサンも美味！

The staff are so helpful! Breakfast buffet was wonderful! The rooms were clean, well furnished & well maintained. We had a balcony with a pretty view of the mountains. It is located very close to Pfingstegg lift and amazing Gletscherschlucgt Glacier Canyon. We walked to Grindalwald train station - do not get off at terminal station. They did a bag of laundry for me & returned it to the room while we were gone. Restaurants & church in walking distance. Easy to get to lifts for mountains. Would stay there again if I am lucky enough to return.

A little bit far from village center but free bus pass helps. Not so much dining choice near the hotel so the free bus is a good perk. Hotel was great, Staff pleasant and helpful, Great Breakfast.

O odor do local é pungente desde a entrada até a recepção e continua em toda a área comum. Para mim que sou muito sensível a cheiros foi uma experiência muito desagradável. O carpete puído dá ao local uma sensação de abandono e descaso. Não corresponde as 03 estrelas anunciadas na apresentação do app. Reservei dois quartos um estava bom, reformado, adequado. O outro péssimo, com o mesmo odor desagradável, o mesmo carpete puído e ainda por cima com vista para a parte de trás da propriedade, para a lage e outra janela. (Minha reserva era apartamento superior). Nesse quarto estava minha filha em companhia de minha prima que mora na Suíça e que era minha convidada. Elas foram até a recepção pedir a troca do quarto e mostrar a reserva com muita educação e respeito ( detalhe, falando na língua local visto que minha prima mora na Suíça Alemã há mais de 20 anos) e foram tratadas com muito desrespeito e falta de educação pela recepcionista. Com muito tato minha prima conseguiu que ela olhasse para o celular e então ela percebeu que havia um erro da parte deles e então as trocou de quarto para um quarto reformado da parte da frente do hotel. Semelhante ao que eu e meu marido estávamos. Os funcionários são pouco solícitos e muito mal humorados. O que se é de surpreender para o ramo hoteleiro. O café da manhã é bom e bem variado.

The staff and breakfast were amazing. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and very very worn out. The bathroom is very worn and there was black mold in the shower. The shower also didn't get warm at all. Very thin walls so it was hard to sleep. Good location but with so many other hotels in the area, I would not recommend this one.
