My stay at Hotel Whiskey was good. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The only drawback really to the hotel is that it feels more like an Airbnb experience with no personal touch. There was no visible staff on site and no reception. Everything from check-in to check-out is automated which while convenient, makes the place feel empty. Also of note, parking in back needs to be improved but based on what i can see, it appears that may already be in the works.

The hotel itself was beautiful and newly decorated and done. Only problem was that the air was set to high that I had to text the number(there is not front desk staff) after about 20 min a maintenance man contacted me and told me how to change the air. They use an eco setting that will not allow you to lower the air under 72 it was super stuffy and warm in our room. Also there is not amenities such as vending machines or water fountains. The only thing offered was ice. Since hotel is all virtual you have to use a code to enter building and also your room with the key pad. There was several times that code pad wouldn’t work and we had issues getting in. Again hotel was beautiful rooms were nice but the bed…… it was like sleeping on wood. The only staff I seen was housekeeping that came by our room at 9am and woke us up.

The hotel was very clean. It was so new you could smell. The new in the rooms was very close to restaurants and the beach. The only negative thing I could say was there was not a beach view.

It was recently opened when I stayed. They had a few kinks to workout but they were very helpful. Very nice and classy.

They have no desk nor workers on premises. All doors run by a code which the front door kept locking people out. The bed was hard as a brick. The elevator worked when wanted. The balcony all connected, there was no privacy. Location was ideal. Plenty places in walking distance!

The Hotel was absolutely clean & beautiful. Long Beach is amazing! Only a few things probably need to be mentioned. 1) The rooms are not sound proof. (Live band at a near by restaurant/bar) Didn’t stop us from sleeping thanks to ear plugs & exhaustion from the drive. 2) The downstairs area in front of the hotel is currently under construction, add-on of some sort? The workers were kind & respectful & stopped & started their work at decent times. 3) The elevator is scary…That’s the only way I can think of to describe it…I recommend the stairs. Otherwise and absolutely perfect stay…

Room was clean and a good size. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom needs added shelf near lavatory There is no where to put toiletries because there is no counter Also no shelf in shower. Called for more towels and were delivered very quickly Someone got stuck in the elevator for approximately 15 minutes. Location a few blocks from the beach

Just 2 concerns.....extreme chemical odor upon entering the front entrance door. Considering that the property had just opened, I assume it to be paint or varnish. Strategically placed exhaust fans could help. This odor was present in our room & remained in our clothing. The water pressure was not as expected & took an extremely long time to warm up. With only a handful of rooms being occupied & our showers being taken after the peak morning times, this is concerning.

Not much to the hotel. But our biggest complaint was we purchased a Non-Smoking room and our room reeked off cigarettes and smoke. It wa hard and difficult to sleep and stay in. I was not happy about this.

Smoke detector went off 4 times at 1am then two times at 2am and again at 3am. Needless to say no sleep for sure. AC wasn't working right room felt clammy as well as pillows felt damp. I rate this hotel on a scale of 1-10 it was a1 meaning very poor due to the detector and the Clammy feeling. Very disappointed in our stay.

The hotel is new so it was very clean and nice. It did however have a few kinks. The elevator was very slow and did not work the second day we were there. There was also a weird odor. I think it must have been from the paint that was used. Our neighbors accidentally got themselves locked out of there room on the balcony. They had to come through our room to get back into theres. I’m not sure they would have done if there was no one else on that floor. The balcony doors need a code or something to prevent this from happening. With all of that said, we would probably stay again. The beds were very comfortable and the walk in shower was very nice. It’s a nice hotel. It just has a few kinks to work out.

This is a brand new hotel! It was clean and a nice, safe place to stay. The balcony off of the room was great to use. Atmosphere at this hotel is relaxed. We really liked the Keurig with Community Coffee and the complimentary snacks and water. We will definitely stay here again.
