The room looked recently renovated and was clean. Kids loved the water slide but the hot tub was lukewarm. We had a bad experience at the Aalto’s restaurant. We went for the Saturday prime rib buffet. Upon arrival at 5:30 (it started at 5:00), we were told they were sold out of prime rib even though the restaurant did not look very full. They offered us steak instead so we agreed. The steak we received was not worth $40 a plate. It was very dry and chewy. Almost like it had been thawed and frozen repeatedly. There seemed to be little selection for sides, especially for the kids. Some of the sides also seemed like they were cooked previously. Overall not a good experience, though they made it right by not charging us for our meals.
