The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. We didn't use the kitchen facilities so we can't comment on those. The shower didn't flood the bathroom as in so many hotels. The reception staff were friendly (the restaurant staff, less so). The breakfast varied a bit every day and had a pretty good selection, albeit not on the epic scale of buffet breakfasts typically seen in Austria, Germany and elsewhere. The area was obviously a bit run-down but wasn't especially scary, even at night. When we were there a metro line was being built and the tram service was interrupted. The reception didn't seem to know anything about it. Ask about bus services, which do run fairly close to the hotel - the public transport web page isn't really much help. Otherwise it's a good, healthy walk to the bridge and over to the old town.
