The property had its sign painted black so you couldn't tell the name of the hotel. Could not see anything identifying it as a Motel 6. The street number was on the building, but no name. There was a handwritten cardboard sign taped to the outer wall that said "Pick up you animals Poop" in marker. The hotel clerk was sitting on a bench oustside and greeted us with a shout that the hotel was booked up. I said I had a reservation. She yelled back they were booked and I needed to contact who I rented the room from and get relocated. Spent over an hour on the phone trying to get a representative from Expedia to rebook us. That was another nightmare. The Expedia rep couldn't get any hotel nearby to answer their phones. Took forever. Finally after 8p she arranged something. Ugh. That Motel 6 was not a franchise hotel. Based off what my wife and I saw, it now is a Crack house with a bunch of squatters. As the Expedia rep was on the phone I went to the expedia website and still saw rooms listed for that site.
