There is a pub walking distance from the place and some little shop and BBQ. Place. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We had a great stay. Everything was updated in the rooms. They have a pool for warmer weather. Will stay again if we're in this area.

Room seemed brand new! Large space, comfortable bedding. Absolutely immaculate. Cleanest hotel room I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. This was a last minute booking and was an incredibly pleasant surprise. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Recently renovated, very clean and new space. Easy check-in via contactless code. Comfortable stay, would return again. Checked in late using a door code, so can't say how responsive staff is if you need anything during your stay.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this motel appears to have been recently remodeled. I'm not sure when the remodel occurred, but we stayed in room 20 (single king-sized bed) on 9/25/2026 and the room was flawless. Everything seemed new (including the very comfortable bed), everything was spotless and the room was spacious. The only negative I can think of at all is that there were no tissues in the room but, to me, that didn't matter at all. To be clear, this is an old-school style motor lodge, single floor and you park outside your door. It's located in a country setting and seemed very safe, as well as quiet. Even the outside was recently painted and includes a pair of Adirondack chairs outside the door. We never met the owners/operators as we chose to use the remote email check-in which was super convenient. The remodel and cleanliness cannot be overstated, hopefully it continues into the future! We would not hesitate to stay again!
