The hotel is newly remodeled. They did a good job of preserving the charm of the old building while fixing it up. The room overlooks the Hudson River, has great views and is very close to the train station. We enjoyed a spacious room and the large hot tub.

Our stay was fantastic. Well, the end was not yet completely renovated, and we only had access to our room, and not common spaces, the room was clean, good sized, and a fantastic balcony view of sunsets over the Hudson River.

Responsive owner, helped me with self check in procedure as my sim wasn’t working. Rooms are lovely, spacious with a relaxed blend of contemporary furnishings and historic charm. Balcony and view delightful. Trainline not a problem, and I’m a light sleeper! Nice neighbourhood. We had a lovely meal next door, booking advised as is popular with locals, and good breakfast & coffee in deli up the road.

This Hudson River stay was absolute perfection from start to finish. The room was wonderfully spacious, with quiet, chic, and laid-back vibes that made it instantly relaxing, and every corner was spotlessly clean. The highlight was our porch—complete with a table and two chairs—offering stunning views right out over the Hudson River. The bathroom was equally incredible: huge, featuring an enormous Jacuzzi tub alongside a massive walk-in shower. If you are looking for a flawless, peaceful retreat right on the Hudson River, this place is unbeatable. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to return!

We ended up having an issue with the booking for this hotel, but the owner was amazing and went above and beyond to help remedy the situation. The service and courtesy we received were truly incredible. Looking forward to our next time in the area to stay here.

This is a very nice B&B where every room has a small patio with a beautiful view of the Hudson River. It is alongside train tracks but I didn't find the occasional passing train to be a bother. A great escape if you want a night away from NYC.

The Radcliffe hotel is amazing. The view is truly outstanding with the wide width of the Hudson at your windows and deck. Part of its charm is its history and the investment put into it to make it be a modern hotel is obvious. The determination to keep the old wood floors adds a degree of rustic elegance. The train tracks running along the Hudson bring back the heritage of the location. The tugboats to barges to sailboats and magnificent sunsets add to the water front setting. As a base for touring the history of the eastern side of the Hudson is perfect. From Olana to the Vanderbilt home and FDR historic site it is easily driveable.

Very cozy hotel/inn right on the Hudson river overlooking Kingston on the other side. Set in a very quaint little village of the same name. Room was large with a large bathroom with a deep tub and shower. The room also had a private balcony with incredible views of the Hudson river. Check in was more like an Airbnb with no check-in desk or staff. You get an access code by text.the day of your visit and your room key is on the front table withyour name on it. Up the road is a small market and across the street is a small restaurant. I think the only issue we had was that the hotel is right across the street from an Amtrak station and the trains can be quite loud as they pass. Wonderful stay overall!

Hotel reopened two days prior to our stay. Barry, the property owner, greeted us upon our arrival and explained that there was everything we may need in the lobby: coffee, tea, water, snacks etc. Our room and king sized bed was very comfortable. Loved the bathroom with free standing soaking tub. The view of the Hudson River from our balcony was spectacular. Wish we had a clearer night to see sunset over the Hudson. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to friends and family. Diane

Incredible Room, Unbeatable View — The Perfect Hudson Valley Getaway Room 203 at The Rhinecliff might be the best hotel room I've ever stayed in. We checked in late in the evening, and Barry and Michaela made it completely seamless — genuinely warm, helpful hosts even at a late hour. From there, everything about the room was incredible: rich wood accents throughout, a soaking tub with a waterfall shower above it that felt like a private spa, and bedding that puts big-name hotel chains to shame — this isn't a Comfort Inn, it's Marriott-level comfort at a fraction of the price. The whole place was immaculate — spotless, no bugs, no rough edges anywhere. Parking right on the water was effortless, and the view of the Hudson River from the room is unbeatable. The train station is right next door, which sounds like it could be a downside, but there's zero noise at night — instead you get to watch geese glide over the river in the morning, which was a genuinely wonderful way to start the day. For the price, the quality, cleanliness, and charm here are hard to beat anywhere in the Hudson Valley. This is the perfect Hudson Valley getaway, and I'll be back.

Other Hotels.com reviews had alerted us that the property was going to be undergoing a renovation-so we came in with low expectations (but boy was the price amazing!)! Everything was just WONDERFUL! The parking was easy, the lobby was so cute with our key waiting for us and lots of delcicous snacks and seltzers. The room was such a great size, impeccably clean and the bathroom was HUGE with the gorgeous advertises jacuzzi tub! The balcony faced the Hudson River and we were mesemerized with the gorgeous view including an incredible sunset and sunrise. Exactly 2 miles (5 minutes) from the downtown of Rhinebeck with all the cute shops and restaurants (but also a tavern directly across the street and an adorable coffee place at the end of the block!). I am worried about the price increase post renovation but honestly this hotel is just in the perfect location!

It was weird when we got there. We couldn't find the entrance at first since it wasn't obvious. When we did find it, there was just a key left on the table with my name saying that everything was self-service. Not one employee in sight. It's an old property under renovation so it felt pretty creepy. Everything creaks and the walls are thin. The room was okay with a nice view of the Hudson. I did appreciate the snacks and water that was left in the lobby since the restaurant across the street is very expensive, There is also a market up the block.
