We enjoyed our stay very much at the Desert camp - the rooms are clean and the employers friendly. It is also close to the entrance to Sossusvlei.

Wonderful location, spacious room and bathroom, gorgeous veranda where you can watch the animals come to the waterwhole, loungers and a pool to relax on after the tours. Everything is clean and very comfortable. Very kindly girls at reception. Highly recommended! Unforgettable!

Beautiful spot to stay for a few nights around Soussevlei. The rooms have everything you need are clean comfortable and well appointed. There is ample space and everything you need for a self catered stay. Breakfast and dinner are avaliable at the sister lodge a few kms down the road. The food and service was excellent but its good to time your meals so you are not surrounded b y the busloads of tourists staying there- go a little later for dinner and breakfast!

Good for star gazing

It was a great location for seeing the stars. We enjoyed the water hole, and even had a coyote visit at night.

the location is perfect for visiting sossusvlei, 5 minutes from the entrance of the park. the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. could use a little renovation but overall is a good place. the cabins are distant from each other, that guarantees peace and privacy. the staff is nice and friendly. dinner at sossusvlei lodge is good. the view of the mountains at sunrise and sunset is priceless!

Very peaceful place. Campsite full nature. Swimming pool a bit cold in winter time. Kindness of the staff.

amazing weekend in the desert.

had a lovely stay at Desert Camp. Everything was super clean. The rooms are very spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The outside kitchen is fabulous with an incredible view of the mountains. They offer, at no cost, a box of kitchen utensils that has everything you would ever want (including a cast iron pan!)

Clean and safe place in the middle of the desert. The AC worked great. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Kitchen is outside the house where it is very windy and dusty.

Peace and tranquility.

Spectacular views and comfortable beds. Outside cooking and bbq area. Pool by the bar and ice cold beer. 5 minutes from gate to Sossusvlei. Of the two camps, this is the one with better views.

Tolle Unterkunft

Tolle Unterkunft, super Lage. Die Hütten bieten alles was man braucht.

Close to national park

It was a nice place located close to the national park, offering beautiful scenery. However, communication could have been better. The reception overlooked the booking details of our stay, which caused issues during checkout.
