I loved the personal welcome when I arrived. I felt like I was a member of the family the entire 4 days I stayed there -- They were easy to talk to, and felt like old friends. My room was very cozy and comfortable, and there were lots of delicious choices for breakfast -- I tried them all! The property was very clean and beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. EVERYTHING about this place was magical! I had a great time speaking with all the staff that pointed me to great sights I am super happy I did not miss. The breakfast was 10/10 with homemade bananas foster oatmeal and a hearty breakfast followed behind it. Only thing I wish was that my stay was longer! I HIGHLY recommend The Crofting!

Absolutely beautiful and history rich house. Staying in one of the bedrooms truly feels like spending a holiday with your grandma. The host Lyndsay is exceptionally warm and charismatic. Linda the owner is an adorable grandma and will make sure you have everything you need. Between the two I guarantee you'll feel really take care of! And whatever you do, do not miss breakfast! It's absolutely delicious.
