Hotel is in the middle of Brewood. It doesn't look much from outside, there are more impressive build around the location. But the interior is more impressive. Checking in was efficient. The room was comfortable and quiet despite being at the front of the hotel., All the rooms are named after local villages. The restaurant was excellent, we really enjoyed our meal at night and the breakfast. All the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient.

The Lion Hotel, slap bang in the centre of the village of Brewood, is an excellent spot to stay and eat. First, dinner: one of those meals you don't want to end, as each item on our (four guests) plates was fresh, tasty, and well cooked and prepared. Staying over: a large, comfortable bed, power shower, proper towelware - and a great breakfast included in the morning. Free public parking just behind the hotel. And on top of all this, the staff were all super-friendly and helpful. We picked the Lion almost at random, as we had friends living a few miles away - but what a super find. (Plus, Brewood is a lovely old village to walk around, with historic buildings and a canal).

the bar and resturant were great but the room was terrible...above the kitchen so could smell cooking in our room...bed was like a hospitl bed and felt like it was broken in the middle...but the staff and downstairs was lovely..shame that wasnt echoed upstairs

Great location in the middle of Brewood which is a gorgeous village. We were there for a birthday celebration in Brewood so it was very convenient. Nice rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Lovely atmosphere.

Very good all round

Stayed for 3 weeks on business. Staff were excellent, beers were good. Quality of the food was great and generously portioned. Room very comfortable, no issues with the shower. Very good all round.

Second time I've used this, lovely rooms and friendly people, breakfast is good and meals are nice. Free parking a couple of minutes away. Will use again....
