Surrounding area lets hotel down, strewn with litter, on an industrial site which is a shame as the hotel itself is quite quirky, friendly, handy for the airport. Bathroom would benefit from a hand soap dispenser, rather than sachets x2 - there is one but it's inside shower cubicle, which is inconvenient if that has just been used. Very noisy early hours, attracts some noisy customers and also those who order takeaways, lowering the tone/ambience. Restaurant next door is separately managed, food basic but cheap and well cooked, though courses served one on top of the other. Reception manager extremely helpful, allowed early check-in, recognised disability with appropriate room, free corkage, even brought 2 extra pillows. Courtyard area in interior very charming, well maintained, but some of decoration is a bit tacky, with murals and objets d'art based on medieval theme.

The hotel looks old fashioned and a bit tacky. There’s a lot of noise when people pass by your room chatting or pushing suitcases. The breakfast was way beliw what yoy should expect at a four star hotel; cheap juice and limited variety. Can’t understand that this hotel has four stars, should be three. Nice and helpful staff.

Great impromptu stay following flight cancellation

Great stay in a very accommodating hotel following our short-notice flight cancellation. Spent a night and day here enjoying all the facilities. The pool area, gardens and restaurant/bar were fab. May well stay here again when next visiting the Malaga area.

A one night stay after arriving at the airport was more than expected! A lovely property with welcoming staff, a very comfortable room and beautiful gardens. Dinner in the adjoining Taverna was very nice. There was a wedding taking place with lots of happy families and children. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel!

Really helpful staff, allowed us to use the pool when we arrived ahead of check in. Nice place to chill before an early morning flight home. 16min drive/55min walk into Malaga, so maybe not an option to explore the city.
