This hotel is a great place to stay, decorated with mining memorabilia, which is a nice nod to the region. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. My negative comments are that the towels are not soft and fluffy, they feel like rags (sorry!). The situation with the TV is lame too. The only way you can watch TV is by logging in with your own subscriptions, there is no local cable or TV offered. The hotel was pretty dead when we were there, not sure how much business they get so maybe that's why the cable isn't available. The complementary breakfast is not fresh - it's all frozen prepared foods - but the woman who worked the breakfasts was extremely friendly and attentive, and always kept our coffee full. We ate dinner one night in the restaurant and it was very good.
