Relaxing stay. Beautiful location.

A perfect stay from start to finish. Wonderful host. Delicious breakfast. Stylish and well appointed accommodation. Beautiful garden to sit in during the afternoon and evening. A lovely pub and village store in walking distance of the cottage. 100% recommend. Hope to return again soon.

We stayed one night in order to visit Talliston House in Great Dunmow. We had a wonderful stay. The room was lovely and warm, cosy and had everything we needed. We appreciated the milk, beverages and cookies. Everything was clean, the beds were lovely and it was a very quiet area. The gardens looked lovely, but weather did not allow us to fully explore. The cooked breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Faultless stay.

Excellent breakfast and comfy beds!

Our family stay was very relaxing and the house annex was in a nice quiet location. The owners were very welcoming and the shower/toilet facilities were very clean. There was an outdoor patio to use and the beds were very comfortable! The cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent. We would definitely stay again!

A beautiful Stay

We had a brilliant stay, it couldn’t have been better. The host was lovely and beyond helpful and the breakfast, one of the best we’ve ever had. Everything was so well thought out and really good quality, lovely bed, linen, rugs etc. The property also has beautiful gardens. We will be back!

Fantastic 3 night stay, spotlessly clean and with a delicious breakfast every morning for a very reasonable price, there was nothing not to like! Comfortable bed, good shower and we were lucky with the weather too! Perfect! Thank you

Excellent self contained accommodation that is clean, comfortable and quiet. Diane the owner is very welcoming and helpful. She makes a delicious breakfast and provides lovely treats in the room. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly book again.

We stayed just one night after a wedding reception at Leez priory. Lovely comfortable self-contained annexe, amazing breakfast. Friendly helpful and welcoming hosts. Highly recommend! It is worth a wander around the lovely village of Stebbing too.

I normally stay away from small B&Bs preferring my privacy but this is all self contained and a great place to stay with a welcoming host who let me use the garage for my bike too. OMG the biscuits were gorgeous too!

Quiet Location and Comfortable Room

Quiet, country getaway with comfortable room and good food. Double bed was soft and shower was small but room was pleasant. She had fresh milk and choice of tea and coffee in the room. No serviettes in room.

Great B and B in a very attractive village.

The accommodation provides everything one wants. High standard of cleanliness. Tea , coffee and orange juice provided on arrival together with a chocolate bar. The breakfast cannot be bettered. Freshly cooked with a variety of ingredients all of the best quality. Pleasant welcoming atmosphere. Why can`t all accommodation be like this?

Lovely place for an escape.

I stayed at the Annex, which was a welcome retreat during a busy trip. It was a comfortable and clean room with some ability to prepare food. The owner, Diane, welcomed me for breakfast, a good one after bland hotel food. The village has one narrow road lined with distinct homes - not quite cottages, not quite houses. The single pub is a lively meeting place. There are a number of green spaces, at either end of the village and in the middle. These help calm down the constant traffic on High Street.
