Highly Disappointing Experience at Parkside City Suites (Parkview) – Misleading Marketing and Substandard Conditions
I booked a condo at Parkside City Suites through Expedia based on the attractive photos and descriptions, intending to stay with my family during an autumn trip to Toronto. After a long 20-hour drive from the United States via Montreal, I arrived expecting a clean and comfortable accommodation. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of the online presentation, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing.
Upon arrival for check-in and parking assignment, the surrounding area felt disorderly. There was a strong and persistent odor of marijuana, and numerous individuals were loitering in the vicinity. When I entered the parking garage, my designated space was already occupied by another vehicle. I contacted customer support for assistance. The first representative was discourteous, spoke rudely, and ended the call abruptly after suggesting I park elsewhere with a promise of reimbursement. A subsequent call was handled more politely, but the agent was unable to resolve the issue beyond offering an apology and providing an alternative parking address. My request for a refund so that we could secure alternative accommodation was denied. Given that it was approximately 2:00 a.m. and we were exhausted from the long journey, we had no practical choice but to remain.
