Mindre mycket trevligt boende med lite annorlunda och rymliga rum. Det är lungt och stilla och vi åker gärna tillbaka. Vi åt middag på det närliggande munkklostret och besökte även puben Moelenhof som ligger på gångavstånd. Bägge olika men mycket trevliga.

This is an amazing little eight room hotel in Vleteren, Belgium. An absolutely charming hostess. Made our reservations at a local restaurant. Gave us advice and history about the area. FREE parking. FREE breakfast, with individually prepared Omelettes. Honesty bar. Very clean and well maintained.

Top Property

As a business traveller, this was a great find. On entry, the place has an amazing and welcoming patio garden which leads to the reception / bar. The room was immaculately clean as was the gigantic bathroom. The owner, Sandy, made me and other guests most welcome and i'll definitely be staying here again next month.

Supervriendelijke gastvrouw. Mooie verzorgde kamer met super de luxe badkamer. Minpuntje misschien dat er geen deur is aan de badkamer, maar is gewoon een bemerking. Zeer verzorgd ontbijtbuffet met aanbod van spiegelei of omelet.

A+ for this personal, charming hotel

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay! The owner is a wonderful, very hospitable woman who cares very much about making the hotel and your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The parking is convenient and secure. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a charming breakfast room, a library, and coffee/drinks available onsite (which is nice for relaxing if you don't have anything with you). She even will drop you off at a local restaurant and they'll bring you home, meaning that you can enjoy one of the outstanding Belgian beers (or two...) and not have to worry about driving! This location is fantastic too. As someone who's been to Belgium several times, driving is exceptionally easy and when located here, you're a short drive away from the Abbey of Sint-Sixtus (the infamous Westvleteren Trappist beer, and a whole host of other sites including WWI locations, cities like Brugge and Gent, and other great things. It was a nice change of pace to be in a slightly more rural location and not have to worry about driving in a city - but with the convenience of the cities nearby. The bed was super comfortable and there were thoughtful touches like the grooming kits, body/hair gel, water, little candies, a handy guide in the desk, extra blanket, and good outlet access throughout the space. I appreciated having a magnified makeup mirror too! My only regret is that I had a very short stay - can't wait to come back!

A Gem in the West Flanders Countryside

A high quality, unique small property with safe private parking. Sadie knows the local restaurants, recommends and reserves accordingly. She sorted me out with superb friendly local a 10 minute walk away. Lifts were made available both ways if I wanted. Breakfast at the hotel is also fabulous. Thoroughly recommend!!

.Preis- Leistung ist sehr gut.Die Inhaberin und Ihr Mann führen es so, als wenn man bei Freunden übernachtet! Sehr Herzlich und freundlich und sehr bemüht auf Fragen einzughen!Ein kleineres romantisches Hotel,was wir sehr empfehlen können! Frühstück auch für Continental in Ordnung! Der Duft von Kaffee und frischen Brötchen lockte schon aus dem Bett! Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen und die etwas Abgeschidenheit lohnt sich trotzdem, da man alle Richtungen schnell erreichen kann!

Clever use of resources to provide location

A bit hard to find as it is in the Belgian countryside and local roads are a bit vague. Once found I had a short wait as booking in is after 1700. All became clear when booked in. The place was secure, quiet and did what it did really well. Rooms were large and well thought out. They provide breakfast but dinner is elsewhere locally, you chose, they book and take you there and the location brings you back. Breakfast was good. Good enough to be looking for an excuse to go back when less hurried.
