I don’t like writing bad reviews….and this isn’t a horrible review but neither is it a great review. When I got to the hotel, the clerk first told me they had to cancel my reservation because a large group had come in and taken the rooms…..(but I had already paid for the room!)……..and then she was finally able to get me into a different room, without the microwave or a fridge…..which at this point I was fine with, because I was so tired. I got to the room and it smelled like cigarettes even tho it was a no smoking room. The door didn’t shut tightly, so you could see light around the door. The walls were so thin you could hear people talking next door. The hot water in the bathroom sink only came out as a trickle and when I went to take a shower, it took forever for the hot water to come out and the water pressure was really low. The mattress was absolutely horrible……the worst one I have ever slept on!
The springs were popping up through the mattress and I had to work to find a comfortable position. I don’t usually write these kinds of reviews…..and I was grateful to have a place to lay my head after a long day of driving …..and the folks at the front desk were really nice…..it was just a really bad room. Hopefully their other rooms are in a much better shape. I had slept in a Motel 6 the night before, in Salem, OR and it was a great experience. So I was bummed to have a totally opposite experience this time.
