1. Extremely polite valets; desk staff exceptionally polite, accommodating, friendly and nice.
2. Our room smelled terribly of cologne or something and I have severe sensitivity to scented anything and we always ask for no spray cleaners etc, but this was possibly something spilled by a previous guest, but it should have been noted and flagged by the cleaners; we were fortunately switched to another room, though the view (narrow window on a fire escape) was a drastic downturn from the original room and frankly extremely drab decor if I'm being honest.
3. The sheets had very little "scent/fragrance" from detergent which was great for me, but not completely unscented. - I could still smell it on my pillowcases when I returned home.
4. The pillows were all so fat (I bring my own anyways, but do keep note of hotels with a variety of pillow option - some of us do like a flatter pillow for our neck comfort).
5. we would have liked to have known that the car was blocks away since I was handicapped with a foot boot this trip so it wasn't easy to go and get any items from the car. We didn't see this noted anywhere when we booked the room.
6. Has Renaissance ever considered having rooms that are "Scent-free/fragrance-free?" I know I'm not the only traveler who would appreciate it.
7. We would book here again I think, just based on the excellent staff service which was much, much appreciated.
