Our 2nd time at Pen Mill to see family nearby. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a slight issue regarding bathroom radiator which we alerted staff to and was being dealt with. Good selection for breakfast. Ate dinner there twice too which was good. Only criticism is that some decor needs a little bit of freshening up. Would happily stay at Pen Mill again.

This was where we stayed last year, very near Yeovil Golf Club, where we needed to be. Excellent food, staff were really helpful. Breakfast amazing. Plenty of parking.

With the weather being extremely hot the rooms were very warm but the fans did help, obviously no AC but the staff and the breakfast were great.

From the moment I walked in the door this hotel gave me a brilliant experience. A really friendly welcome and check-in process. The room was no frills but a really comfortable bed and a large bathroom with very nice towels providing plenty of room to dry off after the shower. Ate in the restaurant and again every member of staff were helpful, attentive and welcoming which was just what I needed after a long day and being on my own. The food was also really very good as well. In the morning the breakfast was cooked fresh and loads of choice. Breakfast bap was perfect for me but I will definitely have the cooked breakfast next time. I will certainly return as felt the overall experience was very good value for money.

Our rooms were lovely, both en suite. Staff were most helpful and breakfast and meals were amazing! A brilliant place to stay also if travelling by train!

8/10 Muy buena

Our room was smaller than we expected but supplied everything we needed, including a fan. There was minor road noise but this did not disturb us and is to be expected at a hotel in such a good position. The highlights were the excellent service of all the cheerful staff and the complimentary breakfast.

Staff were amazing, we had been before and thought how the whole place needed a revamp it was looking tired this time, food was good, Bar prices were very steep, nearly £5 for a bottle of coke,!!!!!. We would come back though.

Just returned from two nights in the Pen Mill with two other couples. We had a really lovely time, the staff were outstanding we cannot fault them. All young people and so friendly, polite, attentive and nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent all freshly cooked, we had two evening meals here including the carvery on Sunday which was excellent too. The road outside is quite busy and noisy at night with the boy racers!! Only because we had the windows wide open due to the hot weather. The hotel provided fans for the room which was helpful.

8/10 Muy buena

We only had a one night stay in the twin room and participated in an evening meal. Whilst the room was adequate and amenities average for a hotel this size, any distraction from the room, was totally overwritten by the outstanding attention to service provided by the staff….and wonderful food. Both the evening meal & breakfast were well above average. We thanked the young manager and suggested his staff were a credit to his obvious hard work and professionalism.😌
