Upon arrival, handed the wrong key, and there was a full bag of trash on the balcony probably from the last guests that I told them about but was never picked up. The location, grounds, and beautiful views save this place.

Great location. Beautiful grounds. Comfortable room. Both young women at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. The reason for a less than perfect score is the trouble we had with the lock on our room. Entry and exit for the room was via a sliding glass door on the first floor that at one point refused to unlock from the inside. After several attempts, we were finally able to get it to release. We also had trouble twice getting it to lock from the outside after exiting.

We stayed here when we were on a road trip to see the national park. For the price I was shocked at how great this place was. It’s an older hotel but very clean. The girl at the front desk was very nice. Breakfast the next morning was just fine. I would absolutely stay here again. We were in the off-season and it was absolutely cheap! I don’t know what it would be during the busy season, but I would definitely stay here again.
