I liked my stay, the place was amazing together with willing to help staff. The atmosphere was great. My kids, husband and I were happy. Their rooms are clean and have everything you need in the kitchen. The was extra activities that were offered by Dikhololo on the weekend we visited, and we enjoyed ourselves. It's a great place to visit again.

We all had a fantastic, relaxing time and the restaurant had a tasty menu and delicious food, we’ll be back and recommend to all my friends and family. Beware of the cheeky monkeys. Don’t leave anything outside your accommodation, they steal haha.

Great breakaway close to Pretoria

It was a great short breakaway with easy access from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Not the typical 5 Star private game lodge, but great anyway.

Excellent

a beautiful place to visit, rooms clean. Facility well kept, beds comfortably and linen clean, the staff very friendly, customer care helpful, pools well kept ♥️🌹 Loved everything about the place The only thing is the road going there very dusty and long, for a small car you need to drive slow 🥺

Our unit was not one of the recently refurbished ones. Stove wouldnt close properly, pillows uncomfortable and generally just very old fashioned. Resort facilities are well maintained and great for kids though.

Accommodation

The accommodation was very disappointing, the bed was very old and falling inwards in the middle, the bedding did not look clean, the room did not seem clean enough

Didnt like the attitude from the ladies at the restaurant not all of them anyways.they communicated very poorly with us.And the other thing is that although there is a map it is impossible for the first timer to follow the directions correctly as the route is explained at the reception but very fast.we got lost several times before we got to our destinations. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay at Dikhololo beside those 2 small challenges hope they will be attended to soon

Dikhololo wonderful family experience

The resort is amazing, everything you need is for a fun filled family holiday. The cost of common activities are free and certain carries an affordable cost. The animals roam the entire resort. The downside is the soundproofing required in the units as you can hear the adjoining units. However you spend minimal time at the units as you will be out enjoying what the resort offers. Also the last 11km of municipal road to get is a dirt road and difficult to navigate with a small vehicle . However once at the resort, your wouldn’t regret your decision to holiday with them.

6/10 Buena

Walls of the units ate too thin we could hear the neighbours early morning and late evenings. Utilities at facilities was too little for the huge accommodation one had to book everything in advance and most of the time the utilities was already booked. Gym only allowed 4 people at a time , tennis only 2 people.

6/10 Buena

I was quite annoyed when we tried to book in at 4pm on a Sunday and we were told that check in time was only 5pm, no communication was received about a 5pm check in. We were then placed in a unit surrounded by screaming and crying children, we asked for another room and that took another hour, long story short we just paid for a new room as we were too exhausted to argue. I had my elderly parents with me and all they wanted to do was rest, not sit around in reception waiting for answers. Some of the restaurant staff members were quite rude. The Spa was amazing. The apartment that we finally got was never serviced and we had to lodge a request to get it sorted. Quite disappointing service.

4/10 Regular

Very Disappointing

Very Disappointing. Check in was only at 5pm - this was not communicated to us. Units are very old and outdated. You need to pay for everything at the resort - to loading credits to use the aircon, paying for the heated pool, paying for putt putt Service at restaurant is SHOCKING! an hour wait for food and they werent even busy
