Clean, spacious room away from the crowds of DC. Great views from our room (Commodore). Great restaurant just up the road and don’t miss Newport State Park 10 minutes away. Would definitely recommend & hope to stay there again!

Best check-in experience I’ve ever had. Kristine met us when we arrived to show us where everything was. Communication was prompt and great in general. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the First Mate room. It is on the 2nd floor and is not handicapped accessible. The Inn is peaceful and quiet and there are several cottages on site. There is a sauna and a great room/kitchen area that is available for guest use. I highly suggest the ferry ride to Washington Island.

I can tell they've been updating the place recently. The property still needs a little work, but my room was renovated and beautiful! The bathroom was huge. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have slept in in a very long time. The owner/manager is friendly, inviting, and accommodating. I love that you can use the Great Room, which has a sitting area that's like a living room, and a full kitchen. It's open for all guests to use. The location is also ideal: a bit farther north than the busy cities, quiet, very close to the water, and with easy access to all fun adventures on DC. I will stay here again when I come back to DC! Highly recommend!

This was our annual sisters trip. The Harbor Lighthouse Inn is at the far end, near the ferry to Washington Island, of the peninsula. When we first got there, I was a bit disappointed because it wasn't in a touristy area and I wanted to be a little touristy since it was my first time in Door County. We hiked at Peninsula State Park then stopped in Sister Bay for the touristy stuff. After that I was super happy we weren't staying in that area. The hostess, Kristina is the best!! So friendly and inviting. We had a bonfire it made for a perfect evening! The supper club less than half mile from us, has great food. The Resort really wasn't too far from anything. It is a very cute place.

It was a wonderful stay. We started out with a little confusion but it was quickly resolved. My only advice is to make sure that you rent the type of property that you are expecting. This property has several different options. Ranging from 1 room to a whole cabin. It is a cute little place.

The rooms were large and clean, calm atmosphere, good hot shower and heater/AC worked good. Decor historic and fit with the area. Outdoor area also very welcoming and flowers and not overdone. View of the bay was unique to have. Staff stopped in once to see if we needed anything. Quiet surroundings. Will definitely stay again.

My husband and I decided to spend our honeymoon in Door County and we’re so grateful we could book here! Was a true hidden gem. The host was so incredibly sweet and accommodating. She gave us a personal tour of the property and provided such good dinner spot, and activities to do while visiting. The room was in perfect order, even had the cutest balcony. Parking was a breeze as the directions the host provides are clear and to the point. Was an amazing stay. Anything we needed the host was willing to accommodate and even had bonfires for us visitors with some wine. Was a great time and I highly recommend! The area is quiet and clean as well. 10/10!

Great Inn keeper. She helped us with anything we needed. The Inn was wonderful. All was very satisfactory. Would we stay again ?? Yes and yes.

The carpeting needs thorough clean or replacement. There were no dishes with the exception of one plate and two tiny coffee cups. There was no way to eat any kind of meals, even simple ones. That was very frustrating

Quiet and peaceful atmosphere can unwind without being disturbed. Although there is a small countertop with microwave and sink it should be mentioned that dinnerware, eating utensils, are not provided. Also should have handicap bars in bathroom by toilets since they are low profile and difficult for adults to get off without something to grab Stay was pleasant and would recommend for couples as there is no activities for young children.
