After over 2 weeks in Australia staying in 10 hotels costing from 120 to 250 per night, the Anchorage was the 1st disappointing hotel we had!
Reasons:
It is one of the most expensive hotel we booked.
The WiFi was not working in our room, only in the lobby and pub, asking the question to a staff, he told us that the WiFi was not working in many rooms far from the lobby!
While this is an historical hotel which we like, it is not maintained well, some lights are broken in the corridor, our room carpet was really very old, bad smell in our room, and so on.
Also No climatisation in our room.
We were very disappointed.
On the pro side the pub staff and food were great and the hotel location is excellent.
