I love this hotel! The front desk staff are wonderful - they will do everything to help you!! Easy check-in/check- out. There is, however, an ongoing problem with the housekeeping staff / rooms are not cleaned routinely. Di, if you plan to stay. Ore than one night, don’t count on your room being cleaned.

Breakfast was decent but worse coffee we have ever had (and we are not that picky with coffee). Hotel is close to the Lincoln Museum, but the area is a little sketchy. Hotel was just okay. Staff was wonderful! This is an older hotel, so it has a couple quirks. When I reported the rocking toilet, staff and maintenance was quick to come examine and do as much as they could to stabilize. Springfield is surprisingly quiet (other than the occasional trains) with low car and foot traffic. Everyone was wonderful during our stay!
