let me lead with the positive. very nice room, incredible view with a cozy bed. but, the room next to had a type of jack supports holding up the deck. there was parking in the front that people were not using as it also had rotten posts and orange cones. the gutters were growing things. i realize the moisture here is a problem and causes more necessary maintenance, but this resort is to nice to let go down. would stay again. short drive to the beach if you don’t want to take the stairs, which could be tough for some. but our best surprise is that you can drive on the beach! sand dollars galore.

Brief stay but enjoyed pool, sauna, bar and restaurant very much. A nice treat. It was pouring rain so hard to get a feel for the full beauty of the property but ocean view and trees were great and room very large and, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely return for another stay.

Room was average. Receptacles were insufficient and some did not work. Coffee machine was tricky to get to work properly. TV is way too small. Some channels had parental lock passwords on them and front desk did not know how to access them. Staff was helpful providing fireplace logs. Restaurant food was amazing (and expensive), but service was way under par. Some noisy customers were making a scene and had to be removed. It was a 4-th of July weekend so it was non-stop fireworks and show right in front of our room's balcony on the beach-and we are not complaning here-it was fun. Hotel spa did not have locker rooms ready (repair), hot tub was semi-broken, but sauna and pool were great.

100% worth the stay! It was amusing watching guests walk the catwalk and cross the road in their floor-lengh, hotel-provided bathrobes to get to the hotel's clubhouse to swim and soak. This property will be difficult to "check-out" of because it has a cultish appeal that transcends the typical seaside vacation air b&b. In short, I don't want to leave!

Our stay was perfect. The King ocean view room was beautiful and renovated with an amazing view of the ocean thru the canopy of the cliff side trees. The trees are the perfect wind block and it has a luxurious tree house feel. The room was very well cleaned. No traffic noise or noise from other guests. The staircase to the beach was awesome! And the beach out front has no crowd. This is truly a gem of the PNW and minutes from picturesque Seabrook and multiple beach accesses so you can drive on the beach. When we first pulled up the building looks run down, sign was missing, and I was like hmm… but the friendly staff and the room and the restaurant and the all around vibe of this place more then cancels out the large volume of deferred maintenance on the exterior. If this place is still standing… we will be back for another stay 100%. Step up and get that renovated ocean view room, it’s well worth the extra money. Thanks Ocean Crest!

Stayed at Ocean Crest Resort in Moclips and overall had a really good experience. The location is hard to beat—easy access to the beach and perfect if you’re here for razor clamming. The grounds are well maintained, and it feels like a comfortable, convenient base after a long digging session. The biggest downside is the traffic noise. Cars passing by can be noticeable, especially at night when everything else is quiet. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Other than that, the stay was enjoyable. Great spot for clamming trips and being close to the ocean. I’d come back, just would try to get a room farther from the road next time.
