Nice people and improved amenities.
The hotel is undergoing renovations and it is a work in progress. First weekend we were upstairs and 2nd we were on the ground floor. Tile, floors and fixtures are being updated. We assume it’s as they can afford to. The staff and owners are super nice and we have loved staying there 2 weekends while we were vendors at the Mobile Renaissance Faire.

Hotel was newly acquired and being remodeled. Nothing fancy but adequate. We were only there for a short amount of time. Hotel charged $5 more for pet fee than Hotels.com indicated but Hotels.com was gracious enough to compensate me for the overcharge.

Its a cheap hotel so its not crazy luxurious but the staff was very friendly and theres a waffle house and gas station within walking distance. Its also right off the highway which is nice. We've stayed here before when we go to Conventions in Pensacola and its always been a pleasant stay.

It was right by I 10 , and it's a straight shot down 59 to the golf ! Come down 65 from north Alabama it's easy to get to. It will be my choice any time we go south.

It is not the epitome of high class hotels but it does not claim to be that. It was a great place to stay for cheap and provided the basics well. Staff was nice and attentive. Room was not super luxurious but was clean and functional. Air conditioner works VERY well but can be a little noisy. Would stay again if making a trip to Mobile/Gulf Shores.
