8/10 Muy bueno

The best hotel to see Aurora within the city, but
The best location to see northern lights in Fairbanks, without the need to hire an additional tour to get outside the city.
You can walk to a nearby natural area, with minimal light pollution, to appreciate the Aurora - given there is one.
On sustainability..... terrible. If you do not care. Skip the paragraph.
The fridge - was so old, that we had to unplug it, because it was noisy. Lights were still very old, consuming lots of energy. And heating temperatures of common areas, completely out of range. I mean outside temperature was 0°C and the closed hallway was up to 27°C. It makes no sense at all from an energy efficiency point of view.... not even the interior temp of the room was that high.
Customer Service. It depends on who is on the reception desk at the time being. All the persons we met or talked to, were polite and kind. But, the last day, we had an unfortunate encounter with a guy who seemed to have no idea of what hospitality is about... no need to enter into further detail.
