Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen und die Lage ist auch perf wenn man einen Roller hat. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr okai. Steiler Auf- und Abstieg von den Bungalows zum Buffetraum. Wir würden aber trotzdem wiederkommen!

Overall, our stay was good, but there were a few things that could be improved. The swimming pool was a bit smaller than we expected. From the description, we thought there would be several pools available, but one of them is only for diving and the others are private pools for certain rooms. The pool bar also seemed to be unattended most of the time. We also felt that some of the staff at the front desk could have been more friendly and welcoming. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent, with a great selection, and the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.

Die Aussicht war toll, die Liegen waren allerdings ziemlich aufgebraucht. Das Duschwasser war leider kalt.. Es gab kostenlosen Kaffee im Zimmer und 2 Flaschen Wasser zur Begrüßung. Zimmerreinigung gab es in den 2 Tagen leider nicht. Frühstück war sehr gut, mit frisch gemachten Eierspeisen. Der Pool ist leider auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es gab feste Zeiten in denen ein Shuttle ins Dorf gefahren/zurück gefahren ist.

Die Unterkunft ist trotz das sie auf einem Berg liegt nur 10-15 geh Minuten oder mit dem Shuttle was alle 2 std. fährt (3 min.) vom Strand entfernt der sich definitiv lohnt. Schönes Hotel, super Service und tolle Insel.

Das beste Frühstück Buffet :-)

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr netten Angestellten. Die Lage war super. Zu Fuss ist man in 10 Minuten im Zentrum oder mit dem gratis Shuttle vom Hotel ist die Strecke nur 5 Minuten lang. Das Frühstück Buffet war ein Traum. Das Essen super lecker.

Loved this hotel! It's a little off the main street so it's nice and quiet at night. The hotel also offers rides up and down the hill to get to the main walking street. Everything at the hotel was wonderful. Room was amazing, view was breathtaking, couldn't have asked for anything more! One tip if you're looking to do a diving course, it's significantly cheaper elsewhere on the island through other diving schools.

We stayed here for a couple nights to experience all Koh Tao had to offer. The steep inclines throughout the hotel's walkways were tough for my gf to navigate and the hotel is far away from the walking streets. However, the shuttle services, consieege and private pools more than made up for it. Our room was huge as well.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel overall! The room was great, clean, comfortable, and very quiet, which made it easy to relax and sleep well. The location was also excellent: close to Sairee Beach and restaurants, but not too close, so you avoid the busy and noisy atmosphere. It’s in a quieter area, which we enjoyed. They also offer transfers down to the center in some hours (or 50 baht for transfer off hours), which is super convenient. A special shoutout to Natthakun and Toy for being so sweet, kind, and helpful during our stay, they really made a difference! The only downside (or maybe a hidden fitness bonus hehe) is the amount of stairs and steep hills around the hotel. Everything is built on different levels, and the whole area is quite hilly. Even just going for breakfast can be a workout, and we’re fit people, but we still got to the top almost gasping for air lol. So just something to keep in mind if you’re not a fan of stairs or steep walks. Overall, a lovely hotel with a peaceful location, great rooms, and wonderful staff. We would definitely recommend it!

Great comfort for a diving trip

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tarna. Decent breakfast spread without being overly fancy. The free shuttle to and from town (and to and from the ferry) was greatly appreciated. The onsite dive school was excellent and we had great dives with them. The fact that their equipment is in great condition and they have their own traning pool at the hotel were big pluses. We had a room with its own pool, which we really enjoyed - But be aware that these rooms are all facing onto the construction site next door. I estimate that it will be ongoing for at least another year (we stayed in April 2025). To be fair it wasn't that intrusive, but I think potential guests should know about it.
