We especially loved the close proximity to the beach. The beach was very quiet, scattered people, umbrellas- peaceful. The pool area was the same, not at all crowded. They offered packaged ice cream treats and bar drinks at very reasonable prices. The only negative comment was that some cosmetic work needed to be done to some baseboard in bathroom and entryway of our room. The walk in shower was an added plus. We will probably return again for a longer stay! Thank you!

This place is a great place right on the beach. We had a ocean front room that was really spacious just steps away from the beach! Cabana Shores ticked all the boxes with a quiet, spacious, clean room, and very helpful staff. The beach is also less crowded here due to being a bit away from the larger places either direction on the beach. In the evenings, it's nice to sit out on the balcony and watch the tide roll in! I highly recommend this hotel! Absolutely 5 stars out of 5!

The pros: The room is beautiful. Comfortable beds, great location. Bigger fridge in the room as well. The cons The woman who worked behind the front desk at night was extremely rude and unhelpful. There was no soap, shampoo conditioner or lotion in the room. The only ice maker for the whole hotel is locked in the lobby and they don't open the lobby until 8 am.

At first glance, everything is clean and in order. Upon inspection, there were a few cosmetic issues (paint coming up in the shower, patches on the ceiling). The view was amazing. Quick walk to the beach across the road. The only issue we had was a dead bug in the coffee maker.

I would stay at Cabana Shores again. It is in a very quiet part of Myrtle Beach. The hotel looks like parts of it had been updated. Typical beach hotel. Our room was clean but did have peeling paint on the ceiling and wall. We had a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. We were only there one night to run a marathon. Again, we loved the quiet location.

My room and the front desk staff were great! Especially Khadijah at the front desk who was very friendly and customer oriented. I stay at this hotel quite often when I go to Myrtle Beach a few times a year and she actually remembered me from my frequent visits. That was cool! Although the hotel building itself is pretty basic, the rooms themselves are modern, clean, and comfortable. However, I am personally not a fan of the "barndoor style" bathroom doors that a lot of hotels have, including this one. But since I traveled solo on this trip, it was okay. The hotel is actually located in a more residential neighborhood which is nice if you want a more mellow and quieter atmosphere than the heavy-tourist areas down the road. The hotel is located across a small 2-lane street from the beach. So, beach access is easy at any time of day (or night). Overall, for my 5-night visit, it was a very pleasurable experience with a great oceanfront view from the upper floors. A sidenote: I think they could put more effort into maintaining and cleaning the general hallways and elevator. They weren't "bad" they just were not always perfectly clean due to guests not cleaning up after themselves if they spilled something in these general areas. I don't necessarily blame the hotel staff for that issue. People should just clean up after themselves in those general areas. But it does require more frequent attention to this issue.
