Great views and right on the beach. It was nice having an entire suite instead of just a hotel room

The trip was absolutely amazing… the staff was great, check in was easier than I’ve ever experienced and the amenities were on point! The room was very clean with a great view

The place I stayed in was as described. The people at the front desk were super helpful, and everything was easily accessible. Probably my only issue was the restaurant bar was only open a few hours, so I did not get to use it. But I'll be back again.

Room 552. Place  stank and smelled of smoke. We had to spray unit down. Tub (master bedroom) had cigarette burns,  lamp on nightstand broke, curtain hanging off hook. Bed sheets worn on all beds, some doors were patched up, furniture old/mismatched. Sand on floors throughout unit, (not swept). Crack in microwave door. Place needs total renovation. We stayed in this building 2 months ago on a different  floor and was a total different experience.

Our room was spacious with a balcony and a view of the ocean and the outdoor pool, which was immaculately clean. The hotel is in an excellent location, off the main road but still close to everything.

I was a bit concerned reading some of the reviews after booking my stay but I really enjoyed my stay at Carolina Winds. My room was very clean and exceeded my expectations! Some of the appliances were dated as many reviews suggest, but the room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and I had a decent southward view of the beach. The pool was very nice, the staff courteous, and the motel was on a nice section of the beach. Was only there for two days but enjoyed my stay and have zero complaints...

We had an excellent experience at Carolina Winds! Everything was great, and the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. We had a small issue during our stay, but they went above and beyond to help us resolve it and made sure everything was taken care of. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually left with our next visit already booked! That says a lot about how much we loved the place. We’re looking forward to coming back and would definitely recommend Carolina Winds to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach!

Family of 4, first time staying at this property. We had an amazing time and thought this place was amazing. We stayed in one of the properties condos and we were very pleased. Full kitchen, laundry and two bedrooms, older room but everything worked and it was great. Right on the beach, huge pool, lazy river pool and we felt safe and at home. Will definitely stay again in the future. Glad to have found this resort.
