The hotel is very well situated, being close not only to the river but around the corner from the main tourist area.
The staff were very nice and helpful but could improve their communication with guests before book-in.
The room was cleaned daily to a high standard.
The breakfast was okay, but I preferred to eat out as there are lots of options nearby.
Don't expect a rainfall shower. The shower is perfectly adequate but this is Laos, not London, so don't expect the Ritz.
The wifi was good enough. Staff changed small amounts of money at reasonable rates. This is an honest hotel.
I would happily stay here again, mainly because the staff are its biggest selling point.
However, this trip to Luang Prabang, my second, will be my last because mass Chinese tourism since the railway was built has fundamentally altered the character of the town.
