If you like the feel of a retro motel, this is the place for you. This quiet motel is a great option for an overnight stay in Brevard. You’re within walking distance of downtown. The rooms are clean, modest and equipped with all of the hotel necessities.

The Motel was clean and convenient to everything. Room was retro and very cute. Mattress was firm but not hard. Nice and comfy with plenty of pillows. Will be stayin again.

The attendant was pleasant and was generous with tome. She pulled out an iron and ironing board when asked. However, the property is in need of a major restoration compared to the website pictures. The throwback sign out front needs to be restored, the bathrooms need new caulking minimally and trim was kinda moldy. The room HVAC has a smell which one would hope there is no smell. I'm fussy but wouldn't recommend it until they do a room renovation.

The Sunset Motel is a charming old style motor Lodge in downtown Brevard. The amenities are basic, consistent with the age of the facility. Our room was renovated and very clean. We did have an issue with noise in the mornings because our room was next to the housekeeping staff.

We enjoyed our stay at The Sunset Motel. We were greeted by the staff when we pulled so check-in was very easy. It is very nostalgic in its design and not too far from downtown Brevard. We enjoyed sitting on our porch area in the evening to have drinks. They also have a separate smoking area for guests alongside the motel. I would say my only complaint was the toilet in our room would run off and on. I forgot to mention it to the staff when we were leaving. Other than that, everything was great.

Property was clean and safe. Great places to sit outside and two chairs with a small table right outside my door. Convenient location to walk for a chocolate malt at the Cardinal Drive in to complete this experience.

Mold around bathtub. What staff? We arrived about 5p. Key was left in a mailbox-with a list of rules.(excuse was this is a mom & pop motel and the just couldn’t be there) The worst thing about this motel did NOT effect me but I found it offensive. The motel is “pet friendly” in the advertising-but on arrival there were hand written signs stating pets could not be on the bed. (Too hard for housekeepers to remove pet hair) Not this trip-but we frequently bring our 2 small dogs and this seems hypocritical. Pictures on hotel.com made this look like a fun retro hotel. I was to say the least highly disappointed with this tiny room.

I have stayed there twice as a single traveler. The rooms have been super clean, smartly decorated and very comfortable. I love their concept - take an old school travelers motel, keep the art deco feel of the past but have modern amenities and updated bathrooms and beds. The little record players and a few albums are a cute touch. Keep up the good work!
