Very surprised by the lovely upgrades To the rooms. And the little amenities -like the pillow spray, etc., were very nice. The Internet in our unit was not working so that was disappointing, but we very much enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend. And explore the walking trails in the small town. Wonderful.!

The room was comfortable and clean and we loved the kitchenette space. This is our second time staying here while visiting Death Valley. The only negative was that the WiFi is very spotty as in little to no connection and no cell service if you have Verizon. But other than that the hotel itself and staff were great and we’d stay here again.

Everything you can ask for. The inn is cozy and have that traditional curb appeal but the rooms are renovated, modern, clean and spacious. The water pressure was perfection, bed super comfortable and the toiletries and coffee/tea station felt like the inn really wants you to have all you can possibly need.

Super cute, quaint little place right outside south/east entrance of DVNP. Very clean, very nicely remodeled old motel. Only issue, smoke alarms went off at 5:30 am in every room and there was no away to contact anyone. They leave at 10 pm and return at 8 am. So, we packed up a left, there was no more sleeping.... managers number should br in room for very important things... A suggestion....breakfast starts at 8. Let people pack a brown bag breakfast the night before. Most hikers are hitting the road before I am to get to Death Valley. Still giving a 5 because stuff happens....

Given that there are very few options in the area, this one shines above the rest given its connection (the town is literally owned by the Inn owner) to the general store, museum and Cross bar Cafe and Salon.

The kitchen is terrific, spotless. We've been going to Shoshone for years, love the sheets, amenities and the pool. Unfortunately, the hot springs pool is still closed due to weather delays. This is a total bummer. It'd be good to let people know ahead of time on the website that the pool is still not open. Arguably, they should offer a discount on the room rate until it reopens. It's one of the primary reasons we choose to stay there when we visit Death Valley.
