It's a very old property so it has some expected squeaks. That's not a bad thing it's a certain kind of fun. But our interior room suffered from very bright lights facing our window from across the way. And you say hey shut those blackout curtains, and you would be half right. The nature of this old property is that it has radiator heating pipes that are always hot even when the radiator was off. So we kept the window open, and the blackout curtains split to allow fresh cool air. The outside was 30-40F at night, and we would start with the window wide open , and adjust it thru out the night. The more fresh air you want, the more fresh bright light you get. That said I travel with light blocking masks, so I have that workaround.
Breakfast is simple but good. If you're in Paris for food, you'll probably find alternatives but it's fine. That said the coffee was surprisingly good, and I used the fresh orange squeezer often.
The location is very good. The metro is just at the corner, there are many wonderful places to walk. The entrance is within a covered historical mall with interesting wares.
The property had a nice house cat, Clarinet.
I hated the pillows, and was told they are all the same. The bed was two of I think full beds set side by side. Very comfortable, something like my sleep number at maybe 55. I wish they offered as comfortable pillows.
Mostly positive, but I don't see myself enduring the bright neighbor, nor the pillows. Everything else was very nice.
