Great place but air con electricity problems
Such a great spot, but let down by the electricity failing on the evenings. The staff were as helpful as the could be but the service here could have been better during our four night stay.
Each night after 7pm the electricity would trip several times, meaning that we'd be without power for a few minutes, around 4 times on an evening. Whilst this is understandable, this did mean that I had to keep leaving my room to re-flip the fuse box outside my room, sometimes even after having fallen asleep (the heat woke me up). When the circuit flips, the air con doesn't come back on automatically unless you physically go out and adjust the fuse switch, and this disturbs your sleep, which isn't ideal, especially if you need to wake up early for breakfast or go on other trips.
A side affect of this, is that the Internet cuts out and the router needs resting each time the power trips, which means you can be without the internet in the evenings or early mornings, until someone notices/complains.
This hotel is a great spot, beautiful beach and has so much potential. If the electricity and Internet issue was sorted, this would have been a much more enjoyable stay. This is an excellent place given the price, and would highly recommend if the power issue wa a bit more stable.

Don’t get sick.
It has a great location but property smells like dead rats. We couldn’t breath. When we complain, manager hand me bottle of spray. We refused and ask for refund. First, they said owner will come next day. We insisted that issue should be taken care. Finally, they arrang to change our hotel at Jagabay. Which was better, at least no smell.

Quiet, off the main tourist beach, friendly locals. Office staff sullen and barely helpful, however, porters and kitchen staff very helpful and cheerful. The dining area could look less like a hostel by just adding some potted palms and greenery. First impressions are so important to a traveller.

Good beach, 2-3 stars for hotel
Room was clean and comfortable. Service slow and unfriendly. Very difficult to get there with rented car. Parking extremely tight and limited. Beach was great and food was OK. Again, service needs to be improved.

Enjoy and relex
My family enjoyed the beach. Looks like private beach. My son said he also said he was happy. Food was good. I had a pizza and Sri Lanka curry for room service. Staffs were kind to us. We had enjoyed and relexed at the resort.
