The staff were lovely, the hotel is cheap and when you arrive you see why ! It's value for money but that's the nicest thing you can say.

Perfect location for what we needed for a weekend trip to Torquay. Hotel was perfectly located between the princess theatre for a Saturday evening trip to see Derren Brown and a Sunday morning trip to Puregym

Booked as a standard single room in a budget hotel on a room only basis. The room was clean and tidy and offered reasonable comfort for my needs and everything worked. The staff member booking me in was pleasant. I did not use any of the rest of the hotel but thought the entrance and lounge area looked quite smart. The long walk to the room is a bit of drawback but not unexpected. The hotel is normally the cheapest option in the Babbacombe and is useful in that regard.

Really nice hotel at the price point. Friendly helpful staff and excellent buffet breakfast. Parking was a bit tricky as it is on the road outside and fairly full whilst we were staying but we always managed to find a space. Very good location for beach / shops etc. Double bed seemed a bit small but comfy enough. Would certainly stay there again and will recommend to friends.

Very pleasantly surprised by the Trecarn Hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book an extra night. Our experience certainly didn’t reflect many of the ratings and reviews we had read. The location is amazing, our room was clean and exactly as advertised, and it had a modern TV. The hotel was quite hot for some reason, but fans were provided, which helped. The staff were lovely especially the chambermaids, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here. We’ve paid twice the price elsewhere and not had as good an experience.

Staff were amazing lady on front desk was brilliant barman really nice Didn't use dinning room but food looks good Room needs a little more care found items from previous guests left Also don't replenish items have to go and ask at reception for any extra No onside parking did manage to park in the street and as we used the local buses wasn't an issue but high summer maybe isn't great Evening entertainment every night was a bonus bar prices reasonable

Rooms were awful. Mould in bathroom, blood all uo the walls and all over curtains. TV was stuck to bit of sticky plastic. Full of drug addicts. Loud drunks outside till gone 2am. Will never stay again. It was a cheap place to stay but I never expected it to be that bad.
