I booked this place because it was very near the university and reasonably cheap, and it looked very nice in the photos. I arrived late at night and the airport pickup arranged by the hotel was super smooth. However, my room was Arctic and the heating didn't seem to do much. I suspect no one had stayed in it for a while. Hard flooring didn't help. Eventually I asked at receiption and the guy gave me a little electric fan heater to boost it. The room looks nice but is basic, with very thin scratchy towels, soap that doesn't lather, and very thin duvets and lumpy pillows. My room was also right by reception so I could hear all the comings and goings. Breakfast was basic but nice although things like pancakes would have been nicer hot> The coffee was just an urn of hot water and some instant Nescafe sachets - the water was lukewarm so I then turned the urn back on as it had been switched off. One thing about the hotel is that it's down a maze of back alleyways and would have been almost impossible to find if my driver hadn't known where to go. I got lost a few times coming and going until I got my bearings. My room never warmed up above 19 degrees, which was just about OK. On the plus side, there was a kettle (and 1 sachet of coffee but no milk), fridge and good internet, which were the main things I needed for a work trip. In hindsight I'd rather have paid a bit more for a more upmarket hotel with a bit more comfort, but I can't really complain for the price.
