I just spent 3 weeks in Kingston on business (July 2017) and was very happy with how great the apartment was. It was comfortable (including the bed). The kitchen was well stocked with most utensils you would need for cooking. All appliances worked very well (although I did not use the coffee maker). Ample storage and I appreciated the extra towels and sheets on hand, since I stayed for 3 weeks. A/C works very efficiently. The wi-fi was good. TV with cable also appreciated. The apartment was very clean. There is a safe on the premises as well. It also has a really great view of the Blue Mountains, Long Mountain, some of New Kingston (north-facing view). Plus Mark was a great landlord/host: attentive, always responded to my texts right away, personable and friendly. Mark's mother checked me in when I arrived and was also very accomodating and friendly. The guys at the gatehouse (the on-site security) were just as friendly and helpful. The location in New Kingston is convenient to all tourist and business sites--10 min drive to downtown during rush hour, 10 min drive to UWI Mona campus, 5 min. drive to Bob Marley Museum, and 10 min walk to the heart of New Kingston (Knutsford Blvd). Conveniences right around the apartment (5 min walk) include at least one restaurant, gyms, an ATM machine, barber shop/nail salon. (Mark also left a list with directions to other conveniences and attractions.) I plan to return on business in 2018 and look forward to renting the same apartment then.
