Good beach hotel but could be better

So the overall experience was good… great breakfast and great restaurant. The room was clean but the bathroom fan would leak water every time it was turned on… don’t know why. AC was great… but I also never got my hotels.com VIP silver bonuses… such as free drinks or discount to park so that’s why it left me lacking… paid for extras and didn’t get them.

Good beach hotel

Great location very close to the beach. Sad that their beach club is quite far from the hotel, directly opposite to the hotel is another, rather bad club. Hotel is in good shape, with the usual flaws to be expected in Brasil, eg. that they only have two elevators that are not connected which makes them highly inefficient (both elevators going to the same floor instead of just one). Also strange that you have to pay for each coffee capsule consumed in the room. Most staff at the breakfast was just standing around chitchatting with each other, shift could be run with half of the employees... Breakfast delicious with many options and variety.

This hotel is a 4 star . I don’t understand the 9.2 evaluation is was showing on line . The staff is not friendly at all . The food is not that good. There were dirty dishes with left over food left at the stairs for days . It was starting to smell garbage. The area around the hotel has nothing to offer after 5:30 pm . There are no restaurants or places to go . Either you take a taxi and go to a different area or you are stuck at the hotel. Not a good idea to walk at night . I wish I had found a honesty, complete review before I went there . If I ever go back, I would stay at Meireles /beira mar area .

Ficamos em dois quartos diferentes, nos primeiros 3 dias estávamos em um quarto mais simples onde a água acumulava no box do banheiro, no dia seguinte a água estava lá parada, um nojo! Reclamamos mas, não deram uma solução. Nos outros 3 dias fizemos uma outra reserva em um quarto melhor onde não tivemos problemas. No bar os atendentes parecem não dar atenção, em certo momento, pedirmos um drink que veio muito mal feito e reclamamos e não deram a mínima atenção. Enfim, um lugar que me parece mais para passar um sábado do que se hospedar, além de ficar muito distante dos melhores lugares de Fortaleza, se for se hospedar, vá para o Meireles, não vai se arrepender.
