We were pleasantly surprised. The driveway up was misleading, and our expectations were far surpassed what we initially thought. Outstanding staff led by an amazing husband and wife team. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, and all our needs were met. Truly, an enjoyable stay!

The approach was nondescript and we wondered if we were in the right place or someone’s private home. But once inside, we were very pleased. The inn is clean, cozy, comfortable, and appealing. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Dinner (not included, but a lovely menu) was delicious, with a wine assortment from local vineyards. And breakfast (included) was also very good. We would definitely return.

We arrived at dark so it was difficult to see much but we were welcome by the owner. Very helpful and helped us with our luggage. So quaint and beautiful surroundings. Room was comfortable and quiet. Woke up to a beautiful view, a great beginning to the day. Breakfast was wonderful and staff very attentive. Thank you for great memories.

Lovely place filled with the charm of an old inn but with updated elements like AC and a mini fridge in each room. The staff is incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. The delicious included breakfast on the screened in porch with beautiful views and hummingbirds flitting all around is the perfect start to a day of hiking, exploring or whatever your Cape Breton adventure brings.

Great little hotel, very well kept, with just the right touch of antique furniture. The rooms are super cosy and the dining/living room is very nice with a beautiful view. The 7-course dinner was outstanding and came with well-paired wine recommendations. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Overall, pretty much the best hotel experience we head during our two-week tour through Nova Scotia.
