Smooth check in process, clean and spacious room, comfy bed and pillows - only downside was the noise from the traffic as it’s on a very busy main road but the price was good so I’d recommend it.

Room was clean, checking in was simple and straightforward. Parking is tight... But it's free parking in an excellent location. Nothing to complain about.

Hotel has an unmanned entry system which we weren't warned about. Host had not sent entry code by 1pm check in. Guest arrived at 3pm and we spent 2 hours phoning, messaging, etc. to try and get into the building. Avoid.

The room looked well presented as I walked in, Although when you have a closer look upon things, I noticed Large spider webs in the bathroom by the window. But the main complaint is about the horrible private parking located out back, It really is a nightmare & if the other guests have parked like idiots you could potentially be there for a while trying to get in or out. Personally I don't think the stay was worth the money I paid for unfortunately.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Room 12 has a macerator toilet which did smell throughout the two night stay. Good location. Parking is more limited than the description suggests and is very tight. The property is akin to a large HMO. Unlike the main photograph the property is a large detached house and does not have a bar/restaurant as it appears on the photographs. All in all it was fine but I would not say value for money for a property mainly used by contractors.

There was no connection with the hotel at all and we were not able to get the check in details so we couldn’t even check in. Waste of money. We called and called the hotel direct and even checked with hotel.com who also couldn’t get through. We’re trying to get a refund now.

Stayed at River Rooms Nottingham for a night. Good value for the price, no frills but everything you need. The room was clean and comfortable enough, though finding it was a bit of a maze. Corridors winding off in odd directions, a few too many fire doors. Felt like I'd earned a drink by the time I'd located the right door. Parking is tight. Not impossible, but you'll want to arrive knowing you might need a few minutes of patience. Once you're sorted though, the location works well. Nice walks along the river right on the doorstep, and it's an easy stroll into town. Handy for the football and cricket grounds too, which explains the clientele. It's not a destination hotel, but it doesn't pretend to be. Practical, affordable, and well placed. I'd use it again for a match day.

Property easy to find/park and get into They sent clear instructions of how to get in Room spacious and clean but the loo did have a mouldy water smell The only other issue was the room was freezing, there were two radiators but no thermostat. Shared kitchen was clean and well stocked

Have stayed here many times and rooms are clean, ideal location. Coffee maker in the shared kitchen and there is also a kettle in the room. The car park used to be very big but is now fenced in and is difficult to park your car if you have a large car. Took my husband over 5 minutes to park and it was a challenge.
