Great hotel
Very friendly and helpful front desk. The tatami room was very clean as was the bathroom and private onsen on the terrace. Both the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were excellent with seamless service. A very nice stay at an excellent hotel in an out of the way village.

The room is spacious and a little bit cold at night. Located on the fringe, quiet and a bit far from the bus station.

The hotel staff and people were spectacular! Breakfast was traditional Japanese style food, which may or may not suit westerners. Hotel is a bit dated and it shows. Our room was clean upon arrival; however, we encountered bugs and mosquitoes inside our 3rd floor room. This didn’t particularly bother us, but it may have an impact on other guests. There’s also not a lot to do, activity wise around this hotel. I would highly recommend renting a car (prior to arriving at Keisui) or else you may suffer from boredom during the day. If you didn’t rent a car, take advantage of their daily shuttle service at 10am, which takes you to Shinano-Omachi Station. From there, you can either tour the cute city or rent an e-bike and go sightseeing.

Nice comfortable stay
We enjoyed the Onsen and the apple juice given on check in the town is really small and nothing was open or there was nothing to walk to
I would suggest that the hotel have some north american items on the menu that they can prepare for North Americans

Great hotel! We booked a room with a private onsen for our honeymoon and it was magical! The area around the hotel didn’t provide much, we wandered around for half an hour and there weren’t any restaurants open.
