This large and lovely home is situated in a serene upscale neighborhood north of Nanaimo proper. My girlfriends and I rented two rooms. Both rooms had spectacular, unobstructed views. Charles, the owner/manager, was a delight. Some beautiful beach walks are only a five-minute drive away, but would not be easy for 70 y.o. knees to walk to due to the steepness of the road up the house. Also, come prepared with any snacks, as there are no convenience stores nearby. We would definitely visit again.

We had a very short stay here, but Charles was very friendly and accommodating. Easy check in. The view was outstanding and the sunrise gorgeous. You do share a deck with another unit and the guests do walk past your windows. This is sold as a bed and breakfast which in my experience is normally a free breakfast with stay but they charge 10$ per person. However, I would recommend staying here.

The owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and the view from our private balcony was awesome! We are always on the lookout for whales and this location was perfect. We spotted about 20 separate humpback whales at different times including a few mothers with active, entertaining calves. Putting the whole experience together it was a fantastic bargain.

THE VIEW, the location, and the service and kindness of the owners were all far above what I expected. We felt safe, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family. The huge balcony and the epic view were so special. We watched whales at sunset right from the comfort of our balcony. There are some exterior shared spaces with other guests, but we never even saw anyone else on property. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!
