Booked three rooms for my family as we came for a weekend to attend a family wedding in the vicinity. Other family members joined us for dinner on Friday night, which we all really enjoyed, with an interesting wine menu and some lovely wines. The staff and hospitality were fantastic. In this old pub, the rooms and accommodation are very well finished and have a modern feel and efficiency. Breakfast was full of locally sourced ingredients and well cooked and presented.

Super friendly welcome, terrific location for walks, fabulous hospitality at the inn, terrific meals; generous servings with wonderful flavours! The room had a wonderfully comfortable bed and was well-appointed. I highly recommend!

I stayed for one night here, and i wasn't disappointed . Very friendly staff, easy check in, accommodation was perfect with everything you need from tea & coffee making facilities to shower gel etc . Very comfortable bed with crisp white bedding. I suffer with a bad bad , and I found the bed really comfortable . I had an evening meal at the lamb inn . I chose the lamb Henry which was slow cooked lamb presented on a bed of mashed potato and a mint gravy and seasonal vegetables, followed by rhubarb crumble & custard. Absolutely amazing food that i highly recommend to anyone . The breakfast was a cooked breakfast which you chose the night before, also there was a choice of cereal yoghurt and fresh fruit. Overall, a lovely stay, I would highly recommend anyone to visit, I will definitely be going back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Our stay was amazing, no faults at all! The staff were incredible in every sense, so accommodating, so welcoming and all the little touches went a long way. The room was perfect and had all the amenities we needed. The pub had amazing food in the evening and the breakfast was 10/10!

I chose the Lamb Inn because I was arriving at Manchester Airport in the evening and wanted somewhere convenient for a one-night stay without being too close to the airport itself. The inn was an easy 30–40-minute drive away, with plenty of parking outside. It was a hot summer evening, and many guests were sitting outside eating and drinking in the lovely gardens. My room had its own external access and adjoined the old inn. It appeared to be a more modern addition, but it had been attractively constructed in stone in a traditional style and was extremely comfortable. I had a drink and dinner in the garden, and the service throughout was excellent. I was initially slightly hesitant about the ambitious menu in such a traditional-looking country inn, but the food proved to be excellent and I would recommend it without hesitation. Breakfast was included, although it is worth noting that service did not begin until 9 a.m., so I had to adjust my plans slightly the following morning. It was well worth waiting for, however: everything was freshly cooked to order and served in the charming old inn. I would highly recommend the Lamb Inn as a base on the Manchester side of the Peak District. It offers convenient access to Manchester and the airport while also being extremely close to the attractions and countryside of the Peak District.

The room was beautifully decorated and very spacious, as well as being very quite. The breakfast was amazing, we ate there for dinner on our first night which was lovely and good value. The Lamb Inn is conveniently situated for walking and sightseeing.

The room was clean, warm and cosy. The staff were friendly and pleasant. WiFi seems to have issues which the team failed to resolve. Breakfast was sumptuous. The meals were good but it is better to reserve your table.
